Yet another weather bomb cyclone is coming to Vancouver.

14.4 with a low of 9.6. The low was actually this afternoon while it was raining. It was around 12 overnight last night and will be mild again tonight. There was a big hatch of midges yesterday, which is pretty late in the year for that. It still hasn't been cold enough to kill bugs or plants, it's pretty much like October at this point

I wish we'd get some of the rain here that's falling in other areas of Atlantic Canada. We're experiencing a prolonged drought in Halifax that now has Halifax Water asking citizens in certain areas of the city to cut back on water use. Yesterday the forecast was indicating rain on Friday. Fingers crossed. High yesterday on the basin was 8.7 and low was 5.6. It's 7.7 at 9 am. It's overcast but so far it's brighter than it was yesterday.
Thank Christ it's been mostly fog thus far. Some drizzle and rain but not the fourth deluge for the past few days.
Nice! I miss fog. We used to get a lot of it the Fall here but not so much anymore.
The "Bomb" Cyclone here wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. lots of rain in my hood but wind wasn't too bad. And let's hear it for government electricity providers! Still over 500k without power in private Washington state but here BC Hydro has got outages here down below 100k
Was nice out most of the day, high 14.5. Then a wicked cold front came in and now it's only 4 degrees. Single digit temps on the way.

8C and cloudy today. We really do need some rain, it's getting dry. After only 25 mm in October (8th driest with records going back to 1871), we've only had 31.8 mm in November with virtually no precipitation in the last 10 days.
Probably the sunniest November I can remember (for what is normally our cloudiest and darkest month).
Low of 3C this morning.
The warmspot was Ridgetown, ON at 15.2C.
The warmest low was Winterland Branch Hill, NL at 9.5C. Oh the irony.
It kind of feels like we dodged a bullet today. Downtown Vancouver didn't get much of the
Cyclone Bomb that affected other areas so severely. It was mostly overcast and breezy
with some scattered showers.
