Here are the proposed developments going to before politicians on Tuesday. City staff recommend all for approval:
763-773 Dundas St.: A six-storey mixed-use building with 34 residential units and about 300 square metres of commercial space fronting on Dundas in Old East Village, near Aeolian Hall. The project would also have a 24-storey mixed-use tower at the rear with 213 units and ground-floor multi-use space. There would be a total of 247 residential units, with at least 40 per cent affordable.
At 2118 Richmond St. rezoning is being sought for an 11-storey residential apartment building with 158 units. This proposal is an increase of 51 units from a previously approved development. It removes a previous requirement for three-storey townhouses on the site, north of Sunningdale Road. The building would have a three-storey base and an eight-storey tower.
At 313-323 Horton St. E., the builder wants rezoning for a proposed eight-storey mixed-use apartment building with 107 residential units and 179 square metres of ground floor commercial space. It would be on the south side of Horton Street between Wellington and Waterloo streets.
A proposed apartment tower at 1856-1910 Oxford St. W. near Westdel Bourne would be a mixed-use apartment building with two towers, 10- and 11-storeys high with 223 residential units and a maximum of 850 square metres of ground floor commercial space.
At 279 Sarnia Rd., a three-storey, 20-unit back-to-back stacked townhouse development built on the north side of Sarnia Road between Kininvie Drive and Brescia Lane. The site now has a single-storey single-detached dwelling.
At 1210-1240 Wharncliffe Rd., the recommended action will permit a 3.5-storey, 108-unit stacked townhouse development with a maximum height of 12 metres. It’ll be located south of Southdale Road, near Bradley Avenue.
566, 568, 572 and 578 Colborne Street: Two three-storey stacked townhouse buildings would be added to the rear of existing buildings at 572 and 578 Colborne Street and existing homes would also have more units added. In total, there would be an increase of 12 residential units between the two buildings, for a total of 18 units on the site, just south of Central Avenue.
