I think the the Triple-O's that was there also failed because of poor signage.

A couple closings coming. Michelin recommended Say Mercy on Fraser is closing November 2 and the Dunbar location of Bells & Whistles closed last week.

So, i have a small home business and i often work with restaurants (i take care of websites/digital menu/ads and stuff like that).
I can't say the names but 2 restaurant chains (3-4 locations each) very well known in Vancouver are trying to sell the whole thing and they plan to close everything in 1 year if they don't find a buyer.

One of them told me that they are currently operating at a constant -20% loss every month and that it never happened in 25 years of operations.

The restaurant on the south east corner of Pender and Seymour (former Browns) has a 'Leased' sign.

%Arabica is opening a store at Lansdowne Centre where Starbucks used to be, and Starbucks is moving to be near the H&M Shoppers Drug Mart area. A Don Tacos is opening in the dining terrace where the Korean place used to be, hard to find info if this is part of a chain as there is one in the UK with that name and Calgary as one with that name.

Arabica taking over the busiest, most primo coffee corner in all of Richmond - good luck to them. That Starbucks was impossible to get a coffee out of

Yeah, I imagine the Starbucks relocated due to space constraints.

Nearly two years after Moderne Burger closed its doors, the Tim Hortons on West Broadway has finally found a new partner for its shared space. That a Popeyes Chicken will soon open here shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering they have the same "business daddy."

I'm surprised they actually shut the original location before the other was ready to open.

Renovation for a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Restaurant was spotted in the former Church's Chicken location at Terra Nova Plaza, on No. 1 Road near Westminster Highway.

Reddit said Metrotown might be open by November. They're hiring for cooks now (the West Broadway location is already hiring as well).

Not ideal timing but could be delays in the new space as well.

There was going to be a new location downtown across from Waterfront station. It has wraps up on the windows even, but I’ve heard it’s been cancelled due to permitting issues.

That Steveston bar/pub from Colony Bar is for sale as well. I have no clue how they thought that was going to work.
