Pretty sure that's the abbreviated name of the store. Hollywood CENTRAL Hardware. So that word is Central.

Today we have a CYANOTYPE MYSTERY, and it's a real doozy.

It's difficult to. .um. . differentiate the inside from the outside. I say that because the windows at upper right appear to be exterior windows. (there's also a long balcony with tables and chairs)


There also appears to be a sunken area along the dance floor.



And at upper left there's a 'Ford Theater' type balcony shrouded in heavy curtains.
