I was considering placing bets on when it will be finished-before it's 10 year anniversary or after but now i'm almost certain it's 10 year anniversary will pass before it's finished, and I thought the One was slow

You're right, my math was off so it may well be finished within a decade since that's almost a year and a half away

Finally starting to get some verticality.

It’s been a slow burn, but we’re finally going to see this guy rise into the skyline.

I was under the impression that the already installed curtain-wall glass looks pretty good so far...

So I have heard, but the massing is dreadful, to my eyes. Enormously wide, and with the tiresome broken-glass aesthetic, I don't like it. I think it would have looked much better with the white highlights, as seen in the ubiquitous render. This way it's just another homogeneous piece of blue-grey glass, and a huge, unavoidable one at that.

I don’t think it’s gonna be ugly, it’s not a marvelous piece of architecture, but I think it’ll be a 6.5/10

Concord Sky | 300.2m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox l u/c

Curtain-wall glazing starting to wrap around the Yonge side. The shortest of Toronto's 3 super-talls under construction... at a piddly 300.2 metres.
