^ It's nice to see a little of Labrador here.

It's seasonal with cloud and rain in Vancouver today, but still pleasant when the rain stopped.

8C and a mix of sun and clouds. Gusty. Did not feel like going outside today. Need to prepare myself mentally for colder weather still.

Low of 1C this morning.

The warmspot was Bow Island, AB at 23.0C.

Warmest low was White Rock, BC at 10.7C.

Seeing Sydney, NS at -0.8C in between hours. It will count as a Oct 27th freeze.

Charlottetown dropped to a low of +0.2. Survival.

Currently sun and cloud and 7 degrees at 11am. Highs near 8 today.

Looks like our freeze is coming overnight on the 30th/31st. Could even be tonight if skies clear up again overnight.

A short reprieve perhaps. Long range predicts a low of -2C overnight tomorrow night.

St. John's might only be one arctic outflow away from being this years champion!

Snow stopped. Now overcast.

If even just 60% of the landscape was paved instead of the current 90%, they'd be able to put a proper full coat on the parts that are meant to be roads. Feels like the town was built on an American stadium parking lot.

First frost in Sherbrooke itself this morning (measured by the fact that the water bowl my gf and I have for the outdoor cats that we also feed, has been for the first time not 100.00% water, 0.00% ice). Unlike the airport, we're actually located in Sherbrooke.

Got up to Jasper NP for the weekend. Weather was nice Friday and Sat so we were able to get a bit of hiking in. Snow is about 1/2 way down the mountains.

Lots of rain on Sunday. Jasper is slowly opening and some restaurants are still closed due to lack of staff. south of town all the trails are still closed, that's where the fire was the worst. some spots in town are gone but its remarkable what the fires missed.

Wildlife is plentiful and you have to watch out for the Elk right now..

First time in my life this year that fall puts me in such a bad mood. I’m jealous of my Florida tenants. If this continues to worsen over the years I’m sure I’ll be living in a place with no winter eventually.

The worst part of fall is having to make sure all the buildings are properly winterized. I hate that part. There’s one four-story building downtown that I had decided to demolish, in the end I decided late yesterday night (at the 11th hour just before our first freeze) to go in there and turn the heating back on, even though it was half-decommissioned already due to former decisions of mine from this summer. It sucked.

I’d probably dislike this season less, if I just lived in a condo. Then I could just complain that the parking isn’t plowed to my standards

The 3C this morning when I commuted to work was quite brutal. In January it would have felt balmy but it always feels super cold in October-November until I get used to it again.

The temperature graph for the past couple days looks like a square wave. You can still see the near freeze yesterday morning, the low was actually around 9am after the sun was up
