Yes Terry Yung is married to a current ABC councilor.
The large Left base of the NDP was not super happy with Yung as their nominee. They also weren't happy that Eby walked back other left wing policies like drug decrim, and that he's open to mandatory incarceration, etc.
I'm not saying these are winning strategies, they aren't. But the NDP has upset some of their base, that's all. The NDP is moving to the center because they want to win.
