Wow is that crane ever visible. I drove by at night and was looking but couldn't see it at all. Just drove by in the daytime and it sticks out!

Any word on the Dynasty Garden (227 TRANQUILLE RD) project? Somebody bought the lot for $2,600,000 in 2023. Seems like a lot of money for that.
I haven't heard anything on the Dynasty. It must be coming down the pipeline soon. The building has become a dilapidated mess. There's no way they'll be able to leave it looking like that for much longer.

Any time frame in to which those projects near Jamaican Kitchen are expected to go up? Are there any articles about this project? I love the designs of them they’re immaculate.

Any rumours out there about whats gonna happen to the Butler RV Lots?

The North Shore plan had big ideas for that lot. Could be a cool area, if done right.

It's great to see how much life is being brought back to the NS. If the city is considering building a new City Hall, they should really consider the NS. It's the best land area in the city.

Downtown Kamloops will never be that vibrant IMO. The railroad creating a barrier to the waterfront, and landsdowne being a main trucking route are the main factors that have prevented "downtown" from being a place where people want to go.

Last I heard about the Mobile Home Park, the word on when it would be completely vacated and clear for redevelopment was "in the next 15 years" so you might as well keep dreaming. My guess is they don't want to buy everyone out in favor of wait for the pad lease to expire and not let them renew.

I wasn't thinking about the Mobile Home Park as much as this North-South section. This portion seems possible at the moment after the RV place shut down.

As wonderful as that plan is, its an old plan. I would assume it will be re commissioned again in the next 5 years.

Noticed a Gov. of BC sign for that metis child care center building on victoria/battle street where it splits to landsdowne.

Probably breaking ground pretty soon here.

That would be great to see finally get started. That whole corner has looked like 🞵🞵🞵🞵 for years. Even though it's just a carwash going in across the street from this building it will look WAY better once both are complete.

I really hope something is done with that dump that’s there now, hate seeing the Métis location when going to Lansdowne, this building and the design will be such a game changer,

Mc Paul I believe they are the McGill ridge apartment buildings, nothing much to look at, they all look the same. Blue Green Architects could have done better IMO LOL

Ya I was thinking the same ones. Probably these. I think they're on the last building out of 7 identical buildings. Cross Developments out of Vancouver couldn't have tried less with this project.

Thanks both! Man are those ugly. When is the city going to realize they need to start building up? More concrete buildings allow more height like the ones Kelson is doing downtown. That’s the only way to go with our geography.
