M3 (M City) in Mississauga is getting quite tall, I took these yesterday. I guess its about 185M high now, and its final height is 260~M so it'll be very prominent soon.

Next to it, in the above photo, is either the 4th or 5th tower, frankly I can't tell anymore.

The silly zigzag design will be beginning soon:

Now the only question is whether it will rise to 85 or 91 floors.

I took this on October 27th, you can see M3 (M CITY) rising in the centre of the skyline here, just above the grey office building. I took this from Centennial Park:

The One is visible in this shot as well.

Smart money would say go to 91. You've already sunk the cost and potential to gross revenue 60 to 100 million per floor.

Why Not???

I'm with you, but The Star, for example, whenever it reports on the tower's history of financial woes, which it did again the other day, cites the 85-storey height. We shall know the answer very soon. I wish one of the photogs or insiders at UT would approach the builder or one of the workers for the scoop. Can't be that hard. I don't live nearby, or I would do it myself.

The cost of the extension has already been incurred?
$60 to 100 million per floor?

Condo market remains in the toilet. The creditors here are actively looking to cash out than to take on and complete the tower. Construction continuing unabated to 85 storeys would be a win. 91 or even higher would benefit from a extended pause, an auction type sale and, time for the market to have another hot spell.
