Here is the table-top in question. A dozen proposed towers between 195 and 235 metres... not very flat in my opinion.

Agreed. Add to this: these buildings are too close to the waterfront. They'll destroy the layering in Toronto's skyline. All you'll see is a wall. isn't what we should want.

Yeah, The eastern waterfront should it get built will be a 150 to 300 metre high wall from Yonge to the Portlands.

Pinnacle International to Build BC’s Tallest Towers: 80 and 73 Storeys in Burnaby

Burnaby City Council has officially approved the Pinnacle Lougheed project, led by Pinnacle International, featuring 80- and 73-storey towers — set to become the tallest buildings in British Columbia.

Key Highlights:

Towers: 80 storeys (788 units), 73 storeys (678 units)
Parking: 1,612 vehicle spaces, 2,932 bicycle spaces

I'm a fan! For a suburb skyline, I love Burnaby when coming in from the east. Can't wait to see this addition to the skyline!
