The exterior construction elevator has now been setup on the north side of the 29s tower. Would expect them to raise the tower crane soon as well. Still no signs of the rooftop cantilevered design on the mechanical penthouse on the 40s tower. Wonder if Old Oaks has given up on that design feature?

Now forming for the 10th floor slab in the middle 10s building section. Now forming the 12th floor wall and posts on the 29s north tower. Still no signs of the overhanging rooftop element on the 40s tower penthouse design.

Forming now with the roof slab on the middle 10s building. No signs yet of prep to build the fake brick facade in the lobby atrium of the 10s building. Forming now started for the 13th floor walls and posts in the 29s north tower. Still no signs of the penthouse cantilevered rooftop edge design treatment on the 40s south tower. They have been installing what appears to be glass cladding to the penthouse walls thou. I wonder if they changed the design to eliminate the penthouse rooftop edge feature.

Forming the walls of the mechanical penthouse of the 10s middle building now. Still no signs of a masonry contractor starting on the faux brick facade in the lobby area of the 10s. The 14th floor walls and posts have started being poured on the 29s north tower. Still no signs of the cantilever penthouse overhang on the 40s south tower. They have been covering the penthouse walls with what appears to be a matching glass cladding thou.

At least part of this likely happened.

Fire responded to an incident back in Feb 2024.

another chapter in the No Cure for Stupid book.

Hey, James Bond did it, but that was for queen and country.
As for these guys, it's another symptom of the poison that social media is. Most of this shit wouldn't happen if there was no platform to get their 15 minutes.

If you look at the marketing Old Oak is using to promote Centro, it no longer has that element as part of the design. Who knows?

Good find on the newer renders as they definitely have changed the penthouse roof edge design. Hopefully they plan to install some programmable LED lighting for the penthouse trim and some internet web cameras that the public can view overlooking the city skyline.

Small milestone with the forming of the 16th floor slab underway as the north 29s tower hits the 50% height mark.

Nice recent photo in this LFP article - https://lfpress.com/news/local-news/18-d...anges-to-londons-growth-blueprint-rushed

They have now removed the exterior construction elevator from the south side of the 40s south tower and are making good progress installing the glass windows and balcony door units on the vertical strip where the elevator was mounted. The tower crane will likely be removed soon. It also appears that some units may already have tenants with lights visible in finished units. They are now forming the 16th floor walls and posts on the 29s north tower. Would expect them to average 2 floors every 5 weeks going forward.

Milestone day with what was the tallest crane in London history starting to be lowered on the 40s south tower. Should see more progress in the next few days with a large mobile crane used for the final disassembly. The north 29s tower is now forming for the 18th floor slab and they have started installing the window glass on the 10s middle section above the lobby. Still no progress on the middle section fawx lobby brickwork to replicate the former Talbot Terrace facade.

Old Oak has now opened up Fullerton St on the south side of the 40s south tower to traffic. Cleaning up the ground floor glass wall installs and final touch up's around the parking garage entrance. Forming is now started for the 19th floor slab on the 29s north tower. Worker onsite mentioned that Old Oaks may be applying for an amendment to add more floors to the the north tower. Whether true or not a few more floors would be perfectly ok.

Old Oak will soon need to do another tower crane lift as they are now forming for the 20th floor slab in the north tower. Upon completion of the 20th floor slab and walls and posts they will have hit the two thirds mark in the height of the north tower if it stays at 29s. Would be great move on their part to submit an amendment to goto 35s for this north tower which apparently will now be rentals rather then condos. The new build condo market has been dead for a while now so switching to rentals makes sense.

Now forming for the 21st floor slab on the north tower. Have some of the windows now installed up to the 8th floor of the middle 10s building.

4 tower crane segments have been delivered for the upcoming north tower crane lift soon. They have also started installing the structural steel for the Talbot Street facing grand lobby. Still no signs of masonry contractor prep for the faux brick facade in the lobby.
