Now forming the footings for the building on the NW corner of block. Still appear to be working on finishing up the L1 walls and posts for the center building fronting South St. Crews have been busy digging up the Waterloo and Hill Streets to connect the sewer and water main connects for the different buildings.

Have started to install the ground floor precast concrete floor slabs on the middle building fronting South St. Also now starting the forming of the L1 walls for the building in the NW corner of the block.

Looks like they are finishing the ground floor precast slab installs this week on the new centre building. Should see the first ground floor wall and post forming starting next week. They have now poured some of the L1 walls for the NW corner building in the NW corner of the pit.

Have now got some of the ground floor elevator/stairwell shaft walls poured and have built some of the ground floor concrete block walls.

Have made progress building the ground floor concrete block walls and they appear to have finished forming and pouring the elevator stairwell shaft walls for the ground floor level as well. They have started installing structural steel posts in the SE. So it appears they will use a combination of poured concrete for the elevator/stairwell shafts, concrete block walls and structural steel for cross beams and posts and likely precast concrete floor slabs for this 6 story building. The building on the NW corner has also been making progress with pouring the L1 walls and posts.

The centre 6s building has now got some of the 2nd floor precast floor slabs installed in the NE corner. Still working on building ground floor walls using concrete block on the west side. The 5s building in the NW corner of the block has been making progress with forming and pouring the L1 walls. No visible signs of any work happening on the two heritage buildings although its likely they are still remediating the inside lead paint and asbestos. Also no signs of any work on the 11s Italian Residence building planned for the empty parking lot on the block east of this site. It's a different developer again and they may be still dealing with securing financing.

They have now built most of the 2nd floor concrete block walls and should see the 3rd floor precast concrete floor slabs being installed soon as well as structural steel posts for the 3rd and 4th floor. Should see them getting ready to pour the L1 basement floor slab for the building on the NW corner as most of the L1 walls and posts are now poured.

Was there some type of announcement for this area this week? I was driving down Colborne, I think it was Thursday morning, and there was a large gathering on the empty parking lot on the east side of Colborne. A big tent and someone making a speech. I couldn't see what any of the signage said as it was pointed away from the street. I didn't catch the news that night.

The 3rd floor precast concrete floor slabs are now installed and they have started building the 3rd floor concrete block walls on the 6s middle building. The L1 walls continue to be formed and poured on the 5s NW corner building and they have also started on the 5s middle building L1 walls.

Have started building the 4th floor concrete block walls on the north end of the middle 6s building and should see the 4th floor precast floor slabs being installed on the SW wing next week.

Have now got some of the structural steel posts installed for the 4,5,6th floors on the centre building and making progress installing the concrete block walls for the 4th floor. Have also started installing the ground floor pre-cast concrete floor slabs in the 5s NW corner building.

Have installed some of the 5th floor precast concrete floor slabs on the north end of the centre building and appear to be done building the 4th floor concrete block walls on the street front side. Have already started installing the window units on the ground floor as they build the steel stud exterior walls. The 5s building on the NW corner already has the elevator/stairwell concrete walls poured and some of the ground floor concrete block walls built as well as structural steel posts for the first couple of floors installed. They have also started clearing the hill of dirt on the NE corner by moving it to the parking lot on the block east as they continue to excavate the remainder of the NE corner for the building they will eventually go up there. No visible signs of any activity on the two heritage buildings happening.

Have now completed the 5th floor precast concrete floor slab install and are forming the remaining 5th floor elevator/stairwell shaft walls and building the 5th floor concrete block walls. The NW corner building continues to make progress with the ground floor wall builds in both concrete block and poured elevator shaft/stairwell. The north side center building now has most of the L1 walls poured or formed. Should see prepping for the L1 floor slab pour soon. The NE corner building excavation is continuing and we should see prepping for the foundation footing forms in the next couple of weeks.

The NW corner 5s building has now got some of the 2nd floor precast concrete floor slabs installed. Continuing to work on the L1 walls and posts on the north side parking level for the center building.

They have started landing the 6th floor precast concrete floor slabs and started building some of the 6th floor concrete block walls in the middle 6s building. They have also made progress installing the window modules and exterior steel stud walls. The 2nd floor walls are well under way now in the NW corner 5s building.

Making good progress with the 6th floor concrete block walls and installing the window units on the lower floors of the middle south side building. Should see the roof precast concrete slabs being installed in a about a week. The NE corner building has some of the 3rd floor precast concrete floor slabs installed now as well.

Have already started landing the precast roof slabs on the six story south side building. The 5s NW corner building already has some of the 3rd floor concrete block walls built. Also pouring the foundation footings has started on the NE corner building.
