Thank You for all you Gods of the Towers who have already posted. I am a mere mortal Skyscraper Admirer. If true, as I asked earlier on a different thread, this is the trifecta come true!

An excellent source says the height increase was a result of incorrect information on the FAA forms. Look for the FAA filings to be corrected. The approved and released elevations dated last September have this at ~590' and 41 (maybe 40) occupied floors.

Seemed a bit out of left field. Don't see this breaking ground for several years if ever.

And 3rd & Congress. We can't complain much based on Austin punching so far above its weight in the skyscraper game.

Love the design. I think this will be one of those iconic buildings everyone wishes were 20 stories taller 10 years from now - much like Frost.

Agreed, though I think it's location by the water will keep it from getting swallowed up completely like Frost. Conrad Residences may hide some of it's south side if it ever gets built, but that sounds like a good problem to have.

That said, let's get this one built! It's too nice of a design not to.

I wonder if this is due to the window washing crane. Or, at least if it was boomed out I could see it being 20’ taller than the roof parapet.

Fleming's Steakhouse seems to have closed very recently. But I think we can be sure that it's because of Fleming's and not because this project is moving forward.

I got excited when I saw a bump on this one...

Yes. I believe you are correct. There is a chance Fleming's closed due to the landlord not renewing their lease.

Also, PF Chang's is still open and the tower will encompass this restaurant too. Until PF closes, I too, would not get excited.

I’d rather have no news than a for sale sign haha
The perennial is still pre leasing last I checked (with no takers) so if anything maybe we could snag that one ?
I swear Manifold used to have block 16 on their site but it’s been so long I can’t remember, but they do still have 506 west up so that is a silver lining

Manifold did have this project up on their website for a long time. But it was removed a few months ago which is obviously not a good sign. 506 West is still not approved, but at least there has been recent activity leading to approval.

I removed both Perennial Towers from the tallest projects list in the sticky development thread because both site plans were never approved, and there were no updates in over two years going on three years.

That PF Chang's is terrible. It's hard to see how it has been able to remain open.

Tbh I'd prefer to wait longer for a redesign and height increase on this kitty.

I'm ready for some symmetry and classy towers. I never loved the Donkey Kong zig-zags on this.
