14C and sunny in Moncton at 9 AM, going up to 24C this afternoon.

Things are getting very dry in the Hub City. We've had nothing but a few showers for the last month.

Thanks, but I should make it clear that almost none of the photos I post on this thread are mine. I'm still working fulltime (at age 67) and don't have the time to go exploring and take interesting photos of my own. Maybe when I finally retire.

There are a couple of NB Facebook groups dealing with nature and landscape photography around the province. This is where I find these photos.

I'm just doing my bit to combat the impression that NB is nothing but a drive-thru province with nothing of interest. I used to be afflicted with that impression myself (growing up on PEI then living in Halifax for nine years). It was only after moving here I discovered that NB was every bit as interesting as it's Maritime neighbours. You just have to get on the byroads and do some exploring.

It's a great picture. Thanks for finding it and sharing.

I'd recommend adding a link to where you found the picture, or if it's available, the photographer's name - just to give credit where credit's due.

Hopefully, when you're less busy, you can take some pictures of Moncton. I'd love to see the city through your eyes.

Yes, you're right.

Carl Behan was the photographer.

Fog pics were gorgeous, Town.

Just for the laugh, updating Dad about a replacement motion light I installed in the back this evening.

It works. A lot

24C with a humidex of 27 and sunny. Decent September day.

Low of 14C this morning.

The warmspot was Lytton, BC at 35.1C.

Warmest low was Little Flatland Island, ON at 18.2C Never seen this station before.

So August 2024 ended up as the third rainiest month of all-time.

Kind of funny how our daily 154 mm would be more than half of the precipitation even for November 1927.
