A second home? I'm almost 48 and I can barely afford my first home. If someone gave me a free downtown condo right now I would sell it, I couldn't afford to keep it.
Everyone I know my age is in the same boat. The few that are doing better than me are pouring their savings into their startup business, not real estate.

It seems not many construction workers working on the site. Does anyone know why?

I think you're proving my point...

I'm sure there are some rich GenXers out there who want to buy downtown condos, but not in the same numbers as the Boomers who fed the 2000s-2010s condo boom.

Maybe it has something to do with the Democratic Convention, ie - all the police presence/traffic/chaos associated with that and decided it wasn't worth it.

Very unusual footprint and form for this building. It already feels impressive.

It also looking way larger than I realized in the renders. Comparing the side of the footprint to the workers.

Super entertaining project to watch.

Does anyone know how they are going to handle the remaining steel circle around the new core? Will they remove it piece by piece below grade (as they did above) when they construct the parking garage or will it just remain there?

As I was looking at the new pictures that was my biggest question as I saw they are setting forms for another floor around the core. Didn't know if anyone in construction or in the know might have an idea.
