Yeah, of course. Wouldn’t a 9:04 sunrise and 5:45 sunset be preferable to 8:04 sunrise and 4:45 sunset?
It wouldn’t be pitch black at 8:30 in the morning, either. The former seems far preferable than the latter. I’ve never understood the huge concern about sunrise happening too late in the winter.
Sunrise is at 8:57am in Regina, SK on December 21st…and they make out just fine.
An hour later sunset > an earlier sunrise, imo, and it’s not even close.
Far more fatal traffic accidents happen on the commute back home from work in the evening than the commute to work in the morning.
So an hour later sunset would help keep the roads safer too.
