I was wondering that as well. It’s either 670 or the one proposed at the corner of Stafford and McMillan.

It seems more of the new residential builds, especially along/near major routes, are featuring retail units at ground level, is this correct?

Yes, it's becoming more common on major streets.

Does anyone know more about which development this is? Is it the apartments planned behind Northgate?
In The Winnipeg Free Press. "Gauthier looks to ‘build it right’ with apartment development for residents age 50-plus."

Maybe I just haven't noticed before but I saw a shindico and Snr sign at the corner of St James and Maroon, indication is finally brewing or completely separate from the proposed development and I'm just not overly observant of roadside signs?

I still have his commercial jingle in my head. "Jim Gautier...Chevrolet...OLDS, Cadil-LAC!"

I wonder if this would give me a discount on an apartment?

Janice Lukes has posted on her website that there is a 6 story 65 unit apartment block being built at 65 Kirkbridge behind the Smitty's on Pembina Highway in Richmond West.

It's in a C2 zoned area and the developer is not asking for any zoning variances, so there was no public hearing about it.

Apparently the land has been zoned for apartments for over 54 years and only now is a developer wanting to build on it.

Does anybody know what’s being built in the corner of Grassie and Lagimodiere north bound? There’s a crane and it looks like there is some digging going on. The banner says DGH Construction.

An atco trailer appeared at that HSC project on McDermot and Tecumseh. This is the first activity there since they peeled off the asphalt back in the winter.

I am really happy that they are proceeding with a building there, but unfortunately it is quite a downgrade over what was originally proposed.

Two new buildings for the main entrance to the Seasons Shopping centre and Outlet Mall. This is just west of the McDonalds.

Sterling Lyon is along the bottom
