Leicester has just opened in the old Normanview Rock Creek. Does anyone know if they are also opening up another location in the old Sperling Silver location, or is something else going there (other than the small vape shop)?

I've been seeing advertisements on social media that Moxies Regina is hiring all positions. I am assuming they will be returning to the building they were previously in. I drove by the building a few weeks ago and it looked like interior renovations were happening.

I seem to recall rumours when it closed that Moxies that the franchisee was being removed and that it would be re-opened as a corporate ran store. Not sure if this is true.

Will the female staff still be required to wear skirts shorter than a certain length in order to show as much thigh as possible? I know someone who worked there in the past, and she was reprimanded a few times for not showing enough thigh, as well as for refusing to wear high heels (even though legally an employer cannot demand either).

I can't complain about the food, it's pretty good for a chain restaurant, but it definitely strived for a certain atmosphere.

OEB opened this week in Hill Centre Tower 1. Word is that it has been very busy.

Regina has arrived! Haven't had the desire to go to the one in Winnipeg yet. Went to the one in Burnaby a couple of years ago. After all the hype we were underwhelmed.

I noticed last week there was a closing out auction at the Robin's Donuts on Victora Ave and Arcola. So it is now officially closed.

The place is a bit of an institution in my mind as it has been there for as long as I remember. I wasn't surprised it was closing as the last few times I had been there they were missing ingredients or were short on doughnuts in the store.

I always thought it was a great location due to the high traffic volumes, especially for the morning commutes, however, obviously it couldn't make a go of it anymore, for some reason or another.

As someone who is not a Tim Horton's fan, this leaves a bit of a gap in coffee / doughnut shops in the east end. I guess I will just start making the long trip to Country Corner donuts when I need some now/

In the 80s it was a gas station.

Good to know. That is before my time, or I would have been very very young when that was there.

It is an interesting peninsula lot layout due to the intersection angles.

The intersection was completely realigned in the late 80s.

Hampton Hub closed effective immediately yesterday.

Service was usually sub-par. Food was mediocre at best. Never sure if they were running a restaurant or an activist hot bed.

Yup flying the Palestinian flag more important than attracting diners.

Canada's first sustainable Tim Hortons location to open in Regina this weekend
The Tim Hortons head office was closely involved in the design of this one of a kind location. It will now monitor the various environmental features to determine which could be incorporated in future Tim Hortons locations countrywide.

Another Regina purse, unbelievable

Humpty's closed without hardly a word. Their food wasn't great, but it's funny to me how a long term establishment in Regina can close and no one noticed.
