That’s when it will truly take the city by storm. Even people aware of a large new tower taking shape on the skyline will be amazed at how much this new tower recharges the skyline. It won’t be a shy building.

The way the sunlight is hitting the columns here, I can almost see them being lit up at night.

When I first saw the renderings of this tower I wasn't sure how I felt about the diamond bracing on the sides but this towering has exceeded all my expectations.

I realize it's become cliche' to say this...but the transformation of New Yorks skyline is mind-boggling. Outside of Dubai and a few Chinese cities, I don't think I've seen such a drastic transformation in the last 10 years.

Will this tower have an observation deck??

Agreed.

And if you combine Dubai/New York's tallest buildings and take the top 10, 8 of them are actually in New York.

Take a look at Austin, TX and, to a lesser extent, Nashville, TN. There are a lot of towers, including a supertall, under construction in Miami as well. There's a fairly broad construction boom underway across the country, including NYC.

Always love the distant skyline shots. This is a truly massive building, and one average New Yorkers will come to appreciate.
