I loved that plate. Unfortunately, by the time I bought a car of my own (that wasn't a parent's) it was 2007, and the Olympic plate was long gone. I'd imagine DMV will
have to offer some kind of Olympic plate again.
On that note, thank heaven the Arch plate is still available. The Skiier plate has really bad contrast and it's very difficult to read a plate number against the background (dark blue on light blue). The IGWT plate looks good as a clean blue-on-white plate, but the slogan is a bit cliquish (e.g., "In
God we trust,
not 'in Allah/Yahweh/Brahman we trust'" (I'll pitch those alternatives to the Legislature next session
)
A nice simple "E Plurubus Unum" plate would be nice.
Here's hoping an Olympic plate will look clean and nice and not obnoxiously busy.
