But the Edmonton area is consistently beating its 2023 residential sales numbers, starting off with a year-over-year increase of nearly 47 per cent in January, and soaring up to a 55 per cent increase in April.

July sales are up 27 per cent compared to the same time last year.

Housing starts for January – July 2024 compared with January - June 2023

Provincewide: 25,862 compared with 17,378 (up 49 per cent)
Edmonton: 10,056 compared with 6,554 (up 54 per cent)

Finally figured out what's being built behind behind the Bonton Bakery on 150th and 88th. Six story residential building. Will be the tallest building along 149th street, I reckon.
