I have no idea whether people are shitting in public in Canada, I have only seen this on right-wing slop accounts like Ian Miles Cheong or whatever. I really have no clue as to whether this is a real thing.
But I do know that it is not a longstanding norm of Canadian poverty to openly defecate in urban places.
