Makes sense. That is the last vacant CRU in the Mapleton Plaza. It is probably the most appropriate location in the city for this retailer. All of a sudden there is a paucity of available appropriately sized vacancies in the city.

Yeah, I remember the "Market" branding a few years ago, maybe late Naughts/early 10's. Woodstock was "The Woodstock Market" around when they built their current store at the top of the hill. Can't recall if the Freddy stores were "Nashwaaksis Market" and "Smythe Street market" or not; it sounds somewhat familiar but I could be wrong.

Nashwaaksis sounds right for the north side location; I distinctly remember south side being "Fredericton Market" in 2003, though

The Moncton Freshii, (located at 200 Ivan Rand Dr East), has posted online today that they are permanently closing effective July 14, 2024.

According to the CF Champlain leasing plan, the former lululemon space has been leased. No indication yet as to who the new tenant is.

Mystery solved. Its for a temporary relocation of American Eagle during renovations.

Interesting update on Rona - Just heard on Q103 an ad for hiring with positions starting in "Mid August in all departments" confirming the location as well.

I discovered another new tenant moving into the Granite Centre.
