20C and light rain in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to 29C (humidex 38) this afternoon.

There is a special weather statement for potentially heavy rain showers this morning, possibly dumping up to 30 mm/hr. This is apparently the same system that flooded Toronto the other day, but, less well organized. Looking at the radar, I think Moncton will probably escape the worst of it.

Cloudy and 22 (humidex 29, dew point 20) at 10:30am. Not hot, but pretty humid. Skies will clear later this afternoon.

Scorcher tomorrow, highs near 28 at the airport expected.

I spent the weekend in the Okanagan, and it was hot. Nice to be back on the coast where it's a little cooler. Already 27c at 10am today though. Should get to 30c.

I always love getting off the plane in Vancouver, smelling that sea air, and feeling that cool oceanic humidity.

My office has pre-emptively closed due to the forecast heat tomorrow. We're an organization with offices across the province, who were already horrified by us getting two weeks of snow days last winter while they were all open. This will definitely add insult to injury lol
