I think it’s a matter of generations. But even you’d like to see luxury condo towers go up. Not sure why we can’t get the 20 storey affordable apartment buildings first tho. SJ has some of the best potential for oceanfront views in the country, but let’s keep prioritizing 6 storey builds.
I get you want to keep it realistic, but what’s the realistic number of affordable rental units that need to be built to keep people staying in NB. Because unless you get a good job in SJ, there’s no point staying here versus going to Toronto or Montreal. SJ used to be a value, now it’s mainly overpriced small centre.
