Should have our first 30 degree day today, supposed to be 35 by Wednesday, then back to the high 20s - low 30s.

Going to be in Kelowna next week, temps should be in the low 30s the entire time!

Sun, some cloud, and still 28 at 6pm. Virtually zero wind, and even with a slight seabreeze coming from the northeast most of the day, it did nothing to drop temperatures. It was slightly cooler by the sea but you didn't have to go too far inland to get into those warmer temperatures.

The humidity sensor on my weather station is broken. It's reading a 19 degree dew point, but I can assure you it's nowhere near that humid. The air is incredibly dry right now, it's very comfortable out.

EDIT: Humidity came back.

30+ here today. Temps nice and hot all weekend. The plant life in my yard is now exploding. Mid to low 30s all week. And the neighbours pool will be busy tonight.

Temps may reach 36 on Weds

We had Smoke in the air yesterday afternoon and evening.

29C with a humidex of 35 and sunny yesterday

Low of 20C last morning. Once again cloudy start to the day. It's incredible how similar the couple of days have been.

The warmspot was Ashcroft, BC at 40.3C. New highest temperature in the country this year. First 40!

Warmest low was Port Colborne, ON at 20.2C. Montreal has been coming in second the past few days. Damn Niagara...

At 5PM it is 41.9 in Lytton. Ashcroft and Lillooet are both currently 40.3. A hot day in the interior!

It's summer and hot.

In Europe many places are cool and wet.

Go figure.

30C with a humidex of 36 and sunny. Absolutely beauty of a day.

Low of 20C (humidex of 27) this morning.

The warmspot was Lytton, BC at 42.4C. New yearly high.

Warmest low was Downtown Montreal at 21.5C. We beat Port Colborne (2nd warmest) this time.

After a long hot day it's a sultry evening in Vancouver.
The Vancouver Harbour pic below is from a few minutes ago.

Monday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 27 C (31 C w/Humidex), the low was 16 C.

19C and partly cloudy in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to 31C this afternoon with a humidex of 39.

A virtual clone of yesterday. There will be pop up thunderstorms this afternoon. We had a couple yesterday (sans thunder) with truly tropical downpours.

Feels like Florida out there.................

Mix of sun and cloud, bit more cloud than yesterday, and quite a bit of haze. 24 (humidex 29, dew point 17) at 10am. Highs around 28-29 today, though if the clouds and haze stick around it might be tough to make those highs.

Once again virtually no wind. Breezes from the northeast should set up at some point later today once the land warms up a bit more, may keep coastal areas a few degrees cooler than just further inland.

Nice 24 on my drive to the office, but temps are up to 34 today, Humidex of 36. On site all day so with full PPE it will feel warmer.

And tomorrow eve hotter. and another day on another site, This one I need long sleeves.

Should be down a bit y the weekend.

And the Neighbours pool last night was great.

We hit 30.9C yesterday, the 10th day over 30.0C this year so far. We have a shot at it today again.

Some heavy rain rolls in tomorrow, lots of Gulf moisture. Its the leftovers of Beryl. 20-40mm, locally 75mm.

The temperature differences in Victoria are wild - I was dying a couple hours ago but a cool ocean breeze has emerged. As of 6:30 p.m. the temperatures is ranging from 19 to 33.5 depending where you are.

30C with a humidex of 36 and a mix of sun and cloud. YUL will have no data today as well because the 5PM observation is missing. Happened yesterday as well. That's now 1/3 of the days missing. Beautiful.

Low of 22C (humidex of 28)

The warmspot was Lytton, BC at 42.5C. New highest this year in the country.

Warmest low was Port Colborne, ON at 22.8C. Once again, Montreal second places with 22.3C. The last 4-5 days have seen Port Colborne and Montreal exchange first places and both places have been #1 and 2 without exception.

Port Colborne is leading when it comes to avg low this month (19.5C vs Downtown MTL at 19.1C).
Downtown Montreal being overall warmer by a degree and a half.

Interesting to note the difference between how the lows are attained (and why mean avg matters).

Port Colborne has "cooler evening" but the sea breeze means the temperature remains there until the morning.

Montreal on the other end, has much warmer evenings but with no sea breeze, the temperature keeps cooling off very slightly until morning.
