Expect emails to come out for completion within 10 calendar days once occupancy permit approved.

Confirmed first set of owners are set to get keys on July 15th.

Source? Also, doesn't the email say occupancy permit has already been approved?

In the YouTube video it shows a media panel with multiple cables. Can anyone that has done a walk through confirm whether each bedroom has a coax, USB or Ethernet connection outlet? The sales people 5 years ago did not know if every room would have a connection point, so this video image is very encouraging.

I recall seeing two Ethernet connectors and coax at the Nook and Den. Power outlet at nook had USB A and maybe USB C. Expect similar at the other media outlets in bedrooms. Media panel closet is prewired with Telus PureFibre and also had Wi-Fi 6 hardware that can be moved to another room's media outlet.

Yeah. My nook in my 1 bdrm had 2 Ethernet looking outlets, possibly one for phone line. 1 coaxial. Two power outlets, USB c and USB a. Positioned above the nook

EDIT: oh yes, same as yvr1886. Just saw his post

Wlodarczak said they're expecting the first residents to start moving in later this year, perhaps the fall. Then attention will turn to Phase 2, which will include three more residential towers and a commercial podium with office and retail uses. The subsequent phases could be subject to adjustments and additional design planning based on the performance of the first phases — and market behaviour.

"It's hard to say at this stage, because . . . that'll be quite some time for Phase 2 to be built out," he said, noting his team’s confidence in transit-oriented development remains high. “These master-plan communities in and around transit stations . . . perform really well,” Wlodarczak said. “Year after year you continue to see strong, strong results, whether it's our project or others."
Quote:
Wlodarczak told RENX that New York-based Brooklyn Dumpling Shop, Kinton Raman, and Trees Organic Coffee will also be moving into the development. "The retail is coming together quite nicely,” he said. “I think as people move in, we'll see it step up even more.”
Quote:
Wlodarczak said his team is preparing to submit its updated rezoning application for the East 1st Avenue site.

”At this stage, the rezoning is to include (about) 300 live/work units, (about) 700 rental units, approximately 200 hotel rooms, 135,000 sq. ft. of office and 65,000 sq. ft. of retail,” he said. "We've got a really interesting program there. It’s really true mixed-use.”

For those who purchased larger units, did you get assigned convenient parking spots? Does the elevator go all the way down to P12?

How do the condo owners even find this thread? I remember years ago, before they broke ground on this project there was a guy in here acting like this a real-estate investment board.

Google does a good job of indexing this site in pretty close to real time and when people post about the business end of construction it includes pretty similar keywords that future owners/investors would be searching for.

It don't bother me none. In fact, we get a little bit of semi-insider knowledge on the project as a result.

Yeah. I find these types of forums so antiquated. The discussion is about the building. It is related. We are all here looking at pictures and information about random buildings we do not live in. Heck, most of the time we're looking at information on buildings that aren't even in the same cities as ours.

I find it hard to believe that a bunch of owners discussing the finishing of the inside of the building is distracting, while non-owners discussing the finishing outside the building is above board. lol what is the difference?! If anything this is more related. People stop moaning.

Yeah it's exciting to move into a brand new building and I like the insight.

Always interesting when it's Onni too. I should know I've done it twice.

I didn't say it's a problem.

I said that if that's the case and that's what this thread has become, then it might be useful for it to be labelled as such.
Clearly it doesn't bother some people as much as it does others.

The same thing happened when Amazing Brentwood got completed and in that case they even started a separate discussion thread where they could move the discussion to, to avoid polluting the main thread for people who were still interested in the original thread for what its main purpose was. They even started a Facebook group and page where it was easier to exchange their notes.

Not saying the same should happen here if people chose for it not to, but it's interesting noting that a lot of the "moving in" comments and commenters are from accounts that are barely a couple of weeks or months old (in some cases even days).

Yeah, I remember that guy.
He got banned if I remember correctly since he basically became a troll who would go onto other project threads and talk them down or sh*t-talk them by way of trying to promote this project and it became old really fast.

I strongly believe he resurfaced under a different (though,.....not so different) username, but this time was better behaved and stayed under the radar enough to not get a second ban.

Quite the character.

Why? Construction for the most part is complete and who knows when Phase 2 will move ahead in any fashion? So let's keep the site active with more details as to what is going on in the inside of the 3 towers nearing occupancy.
