It was quite hot today, with a high of 28C, but thankfully clouds started moving in by the time we hit our high.
I went for a midday walk in the Don Valley, seeing a chipmunk, some dragon flys, and not much else thankfully, as I was removing some Dog strangling vine and a part of a buckthorn tree I felled with help from a friend.
I couldnt ID this plant for the life of me, but after a lot of googling, I think its a honeysuckle. I just don't know if its native or not.

You can see lots of DSV in this shot, and a rose bush of some type to the right

I then went for a little jaunt to the vicinity of the Science Centre, and as I type this I'm about to start looking through those photos.
I also got eaten by mosquitoes, but its just that time of year.
I did collect a decent little branch from the buckthorn tree I helped fell part of...it'll be my next wood carving project/experiment once it dries out a bit more. The branch was felled on Tuesday, so i might wait until Sunday or so before I begin carving into it, although I'm very much aware buckthorn is not ideal for my purposes.

EDIT: Okay, heres a better idea of where I went. I havent really been in this part of the valley since I was a kid, or perhaps this was my first time here. But I was being followed by a cloud of mosquitos so I didn't really consider composition for most of the images I took here...these are probably the best from that little walk:
