The triangle is designated as a 'plaza' and i'm fairly sure the city owns it. The original plan was to have it as a temporary parking lot

I'm curious on what will eventually go up facing 108th, unsure if this developer owns those plots but I hope they do. Tien Sher is soon going to start on a very large development in Penticton, wonder why they haven't moved forward on any phases for this one. The plan was to launch sales for tower 2 in 2022 after the first one sold out in 48h.

Yea, prior to that they were really only a wood frame developer. They also have a large development going on in Penticton. It's between the developer and his son.

They made the right play getting this going. The land for the Whalley Station tower was nearly 2 acres and purchased for $27m in 2020, easily worth double that now.

We're still trying to make up our mind whether we're gonna do a mega-tower or two smaller towers. So that'll come with the help of ITC (Group, construction company) to determine the feasibility of doing one or the other."
