This is turning out fantastic. If the second tower is using the same design concept this building is easily in the 'best of Ottawa' category.

Black window mullions should be standard. Put in the code!

There's also https://postimages.org/. In any case, I can see them now. Glad they kept the red brick on the podium. Much prefer when the podium stands out from the tower. No patch work too. One material for the podium, one material for the tower + glass. Keep it simple.

Doesn't look like they kept the heritage facade though.

Oh wow. Starting on the second tower. I wouldn't be surprised if this at grade by end of summer given that it's pretty much turn key ready. Big plate though.

For some reason, I thought the little brick corner on the rendering was the facade of the old commercial building. I wish it was now.

That said, it's still a decent building overall. Glad to see some red brick at the base to break it up.

Not sure it matters. But from what i was told after viewing apartments in there, the second tower will be called Le WE 3.

They have a website, i have no idea on the date.

Lots of empty retail space around the area to fill, some large spaces too (tons in the Zibi complex). The food deserts seem to be filling in 24-25, with Food basics at Lyon and Queen and this one coming up.
