This feels problematic: If you want to live in a low-climate-impact urban form, you basically have to be a renter for life?
Maybe that's just where things are heading -- MFR buildings are complicated to maintain, secure, insure, etc... so it's really a game for professional property managers?
But this still feels like a bad trend, since the vast majority of Canadians aspire to own their own home. If the only way for them to do so is SFR, then we're going to be stuck in affordability and infrastructure crises forever...
