The view from the Spit remains my favourite, followed by the northeasterly view (think from say, Carlaw and Pape or the above^).

Giallo - thanks for the one heck of on April wrap up on the previous page!

As for the Toronto pics above, very cool pride sky I forget who said it, probably many an urbanist about many a city: “Toronto will be one hell of a city when they’re finished”.

A few pics from a cool weekend in Vancouver.

Hotel Georgia, Vancouver BC. June 14, 2024. by JohnnyJayEh, on Flickr

1001 Nicola Street in the West End - this was the first purpose-built for motorized fire engines in North America and the oldest fire hall in Vancouver still in its original building.

Firehall Number 6 - West End, Vancouver BC, built 1907. by JohnnyJayEh, on Flickr

This shot was taken at 10:52 a.m. on Friday, but with the big trees and dark clouds it felt like dusk and the colours came out pukey, just a mush of dark yellow and greens - thus some fun artistic license to bring out the architecture a bit. Barclay Manor in the West End of Vancouver:

^ Great collection of images there! Particularly the Humber Bay skyline silhouette, the Queen Foggy Evening, and the Scooter Waiting.

/\ brilliant Toronto pics, and that last one is a 1 in a 1,000 shot with the man coming up the stairs in matching TTC colours at the same time as the streetcar is about to pass.
