As for the Toronto pics above, very cool pride sky I forget who said it, probably many an urbanist about many a city: “Toronto will be one hell of a city when they’re finished”.
1001 Nicola Street in the West End - this was the first purpose-built for motorized fire engines in North America and the oldest fire hall in Vancouver still in its original building.
This shot was taken at 10:52 a.m. on Friday, but with the big trees and dark clouds it felt like dusk and the colours came out pukey, just a mush of dark yellow and greens - thus some fun artistic license to bring out the architecture a bit. Barclay Manor in the West End of Vancouver:
