Noon in Windsor, 32 feels like 42. Supposed to peak at 34 and feel like 45 around 4pm.
Today is hitting different though. Last two days have been pretty much the same, but today for some reason, the air just feels a little thicker. Humidity levels right around 60% but it just feels so dense out there.

So it turned out the Chapleau reading was BS.
EC has taken off the temperature from data. No Pembroke at 34.4C is listed as the warmest temperature from yesterday.

Also means the 36.3C at Bathurst, NB is the warmest temperature in Canada this year.

We have reached our predicted 34C high in Moncton with a 44 Humidex.

I'm currently in air conditioned comfort in my office. It will be interesting to see what it feels like when I get in my car to go home.

Bathurst is the hot spot in NB with a current temperature of 36.3C It is also the Canadian hot spot as of right now.

34.4 with a humidex of 44. Blew past our forecast of 32.

Daily record is 35.5 so we will see if we reached that between the hourly recordings.

That 36 recording in Bathurst is pretty insane. EDIT: make that 37 as of 4:00 local time. Shattering the previous daily record of 32.8. Looks like their all time record high is 37.4 - likely reached a higher temperature between the hourlies.

Its raining here in Kamloops again. Were close to 7c below normal temps right now and have had rain nearly EVERY day for 8 weeks now. in fact it SNOWED here just above the city a few days ago. So lets take the " world is burning " crap down a notch. Amazing that NO one wants to talk about how cold it is in British Columbia. They cherry pick details to scream about Climate change, and here on Skyscraper page, if your not on the left side of the argument you get attacked. The guy is allowed his opinion, leave him alone. Start practicing all that B.S. tolerance you all often talk about.

This is just a bit of an over exaggeration. Kamloops is experiencing a pretty average Spring, along with Kelowna and majority of B.C.

In May Kamloops experiences 9/31 days with rain and in June so far 6/18 days.

May 2024 you are off your daily mean Max and average temperature by .4c and your precipitation was just a hair off average.

Also, you don't have to be tolerant of an opinion that is demonstrably wrong. If we had a bunch of flat earthers on here we wouldn't need to tolerate their point of view.

I was mocking the debby downer who tried to spoil an otherwise nice weather day people were having. The only opinion I shared is that he should go outside more often. People can interpret that how they want though I guess.

35 with a feels like in the mid 40’s today. Brutally hot. About as hot as it gets in southern Ontario.

Yesterday wasn’t much better either.

High of 31 tomorrow too, but some rain moved in, and it “cools” into the mid 20’s after that.

If people want to discuss climate change, there is a specific thread about it I believe. Let us enjoy our heat in peace. It balances out the record cold in the West.

Looks like there may have been as many cold records yesterday as hot records on an hourly basis. This map doesn't include low maximums or high minimums.

The last 100 RER record reports from the NWS include ~120 "high/max" reports and ~135 "low/min" reports.

34C with a humidex of 44 and mainly sunny. We had some thin clouds this afternoon which obstructed the sun.

Most of my day today



Low of 24C with a humidex of 33 this morning.

The warmspot was Bathurst, NB at 37.6C. That is the new highest temperature in Canada this year.

Warmest low was Downtown Montreal, QC at 25.4C. That would beat the warmest low all of last year (Summerland at 25.3C).
Officially, the warmest low yesterday was Ridgetown, ON at 23.4C.

The record humidex on the year now belongs to Fredericton, NB at 45.6.

The record dewpoint on the year now belongs to Granby, QC at 25.3C

Wednesday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 23 C (24 C w/Humidex), the low was 12 C.
