That's one big pile-driving rig they got there.

Are both towers being built simultaneously or are they being developed in phases?

No mention of a phased approach at the NCC or the DevApp docs, Dream's article earlier this year on the number of units they were planning to build in the near future suggested these would be built in one shot, so all seems to suggest both will be built at the same time.

This could be the biggest private sector project since Place de Ville Phase I when three towers went up together, as far as I can remember.

Loving the TOD. Could it be we are finally trying to become a big city?

East Flats is already quite prominent from many angles. Can't wait to see these loom over it. We should get quite an interesting mix of towers in this area.

Can't recall, but the project has 200 parkign spots and 600 bycicle parking spots (for 608 units). I'd assume two levels. Someone with knowledge about the project said we can expect the cranes by October, if that helps

Yes there are two levels of parking but it is a large footprint. October is the target for the Cranes to be erected but if all goes well, it could be as soon as September.

I only caught a glimpse as I was passing by on the LRT, but it looks like they’re going to remove the slope facing the tracks and replace it was a faux-stone retaining wall.

The plan is to have a MUP on that side as well

Thanks for the update! I'm glad this is being done. Will offer a direct path from the LRT to the Library without having to come into contact with cars or cross any intersection. its gonna be as simple as going down the stairs from the platform instead of going up the stairs to the Booth street exit.

I am quite happy we are building this path, but I will point out there is already a path that goes to the Libary site on the north side of the tracks. Redunancy is good though!

I think they are just leveling out the construction zone, and there is path from the station already.

New path is defintely along that wall they are building. They left a gap for it in the Booth st bridge and it will slowly incline until just past Empress Lane (and then continue on past the OCH site and to the library), with a short staircase up to Empress.

It will likely merge with the existing path past Empress
