That will actually be great. Currently concert options not at the Hawks Arena or the Benz tap out around 2,500 with Eastern, Roxy, and Tabernacle all having capacities around that much.

This must be the four-'story building with the 'ATL' on the roof.

Cosm entertainment venue considering Centennial Yards

https://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/...ial-yards.html

Quote:
A Los Angeles-based technology company that is opening immersive entertainment venues is eyeing a location at Centennial Yards, according to a source with knowledge of the discussions.

Cosm, a venue that features a massive domed screen to showcase live sports, music, art and other events, is considering a spot at the next phase of the $5 billion Downtown project, which will bring an entertainment district next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

A site plan shows one of the buildings with a large dome at its center. It would be three stories and span almost 78,000 square feet of entertainment space, according to the plan.

A company executive last week told L.A. Business First, a sister publication to Atlanta Business Chronicle, that Cosm goes beyond a theater experience and resembles the VIP section of a stadium with an 87-foot-diameter LED domed screen.

I’m excited about the gultch project. I really hope as the Home Depot backyard is redeveloped they consider replacing those awful precast cement parking garages along centennial Olympic garage with street hugging development. Those 2 garages are so bad for the street fabric

I believe it is the apartment rising. Hotel is about to go vertical above the viaduct.

The infrastructure on this project is so cool. And its awesome to see the deck over Elliot street in place now.

Commercial land development permit filed for 99 Centennial Olympic Park for Entertainment District Foundations (COM):
Foundation structure to support three (3) levels of parking below viaduct and a podium at viaduct that will support future development.

Didn't CIM say they would have 8 buildings under construction by this summer?

So that means the entertainment district, the hotel and apartment towers currently under construction, and then one or two of those proposed apartments Elliot and Mitchell.

Please tell me I'm not hallucinating. Although they are likely just going to put up a different MB Ad.

Thanks for all the pics, Julien.

Love seeing that Hotel getting above viaduct level finally and of course, the apartment tower is looking great. Soon we'll be getting the facade going.

GIS says the LED dome is going to replace the parking deck at Marietta & COP Drive— is that correct?

I believe, based on the plans I have seen, is they are demolishing the south/east corner of the CNN deck (small corner) to build the parking platform for the entertainment district, including the dome, which will sit accross the street from the State Farm arena and hugging the railroad tracks. Basically they are building everything next to Mercedes Benz stadium and marching north towards centennial Olympic park
