I though the big thing with many of these Europeans was fly into Vancouver or Calgary, rent a motorhome and drive through the Rockies during the summer.
In the winter, it use to be the case if you were from Switzerland it was cheaper to fly to Canada and ski in Lake Louise that the Alps. Not certain if that it is still the case.
