The renovated lobby has been open over a week now and the 1927 Lobby Lounge has a great feel and looks fantastic. Rooms will open on the 27th but with tax will start around $1000/nt. (Yet CF across the street are still sleeping at the wheel with an empty hotel.)
Edit-Went back Saturday for a drink at 1927 and discovered it was again closed. Apparently they opened the hotel for a large event they had booked, but closed it again once the event was over so they can finish the remaining rooms they have not completed. Should open again by the end of the month.
