Couldn't tell from the photos, did they build in pull-out lane/loading areas along the curb area? With all the new retail and so many residents moving into the block, I sure hope they thought to add these...

It does feel a bit like the taller the tower, the uglier/more boring it is, at least in Burnaby. City of
loughheed is awful as well.

The brown definitely looks better than light gray paneling!
I like the brick too.
Colourful signage will pop out against that background.

Some of the towers in Metrotown aren't that bad.

Slip lanes allow drivers to take corners at higher speed, which is dangerous for pedestrians. Also pedestrians have to cross the slip lane at a (usually) uncontrolled crosswalk before crossing the main roadway.

They are not that great for pedestrian safety.

Having right-angle turns forces drivers to slow down and look before making the turn.

Especially that section of the Lougheed, cars go well over 50km/h

Perhaps the asphalt work will be done this week.
In first photo, there is a pull in space for approximately 2 cars. Perhaps that will be 5 mins kiss and buy zone for SkyTrain.

Yup, these are nice for a secondary suburban town centre. Can't ask for more.

I wonder if they finished the pre-sale home inspections before they closed down Gilmore? Seems unlikely to me since it seemed like they were only active for a couple of weeks. My understanding was that T1 was supposed to be completed in Q1/Q2 but Q1 has come and gone and it's not looking super ready yet. Are there any pre-sale buyers on the forum that can chime in?

Heard that someone's walkthrough was pushed back 1-2 weeks so they're definitely not complete.

i was told fall by a client. But take that with a grain of salt
