It was also great when Les Grands Feux du Casino were on Lac Leamy and not on the Ottawa River.

Considering it's a sort of dead mall, transforming all of this to just surface parking will be more than enough. Will they demolish the other corner when they're done here?

A big chunk of that ramp is now gone. They're really moving quickly.

Ground level parking is now open.

The structure remaining near Econofitness in Harley613's photo is in the process of demolition now.

An article from Ledroit mentions a project of 2550 housings distribute in 7 differents buildings to be build on the site of les Galeries de Hull in Gatineau

That's a lot of units to fit on the lot at under 11 floors to appease the residents of Place Blackburn.

There are signs now indicating the parking behind Baton Rouge will be closed (probably for demolition)

Yeah, that was obviously the plan. Amazing you can still pick up fix er uppers around there for about 270k...good transit, revitalized shopping/restos, minutes from lac leamy, gatineau park and Ottawa.
Anything public about Brigil and the Walmart property...that'll be next in line in the area

This is their website for that one:

https://espacecanevas.com/en/

Nothing concrete yet, but they have some ideas.

And the SSP thread:

First reply (decided I would finally create an account today)

https://lesgaleriesdehull.com/news/construction-info

This article on their website seems to confirm this stating that it should take around 4 months.

I wonder if this could break ground sometime this spring/summer even though it doesn't seem too likely given the fact that we haven't even seen any request for approval on the city's website.

I don't think we can see the building currently proposed here, but this from a Cominar report in February 2024:

What are we looking at here? 2 buildings this big in the space where BR is or is the distant one supposed to be the Brigil that was finished last year?

I'm thinking this is the view north, if you were a Pharmaprix shopper (floating in space).

The one in the background must be the Columbia.

Yeah that's my thought...though the image is a placeholder (more than 10 floors)...seems super wide for that area too.

Partner lives in Lac Des Fes ...lots of stuff in the pipeline along here.
