Long term modelling shows that the cold and snow can always rear their ugly heads in southern Ontario. You are never fully out of the woods until mid-late April.

Last two weeks of March will be below average; day time highs between 2 and 5 with lows around -5 - -3.

Currently 8, with very light clouds keeping the sun from really shining. Supposedly going up to 15 later on, but I'm doubting that a bit considering we aren't really close by mid day.

EC and TWN have us at 17 and 18 respectively tomorrow; daily record is 21.4 so that's likely safe.

I'm not too concerned about cold weather anymore. The lowest in our forecast are a couple -3 and a few -1. Everything is starting to warm up and we've been beating the forecast every day. It's over 16 today and could hit 20 tomorrow.

I'm up in Ottawa right now and it's 9 degrees and sunny.

9C and sunny. Still breezy. Starting early with the usual spring dryness as there is no snow (which means the sun can warm up more easily). 22% humidity this afternoon. That is actually the driest (in RH terms) it has been so early in the year. Previous pre March 12th RH % low was 25%.

Low of -1C (wind chill of -5) this morning.

The warmspot was Windsor, ON at 19.7C.

Warmest low were Sandheads and White Rock, BC at 7.3C

while the pattern does support cooler temps for the last 13 days of March across Southern ON, there will still be some warm days across Southern ON. The European model for instance has highs 12C next Thursday (the 21st).

We hit 17C here today in Simcoe County, should hit 18-19C tomorrow. Winds will be westerly tomorrow so GTA will hit 19-21C.

The sun came out around lunch time and we had a beautiful afternoon. Sunny, breezy and dry.

Tuesday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 11 C, the low was 6 C.

Sun! I'm starting to feel the homesickness a bit now People are lovely, though, and the town has a surprising amount of — for such a small place.

Yeah, it’s been so warm here the grass is really greening up now, and the daffodils and Forsythia shrubs are blooming too. Hopefully the next cold spell won’t be too bad.

As of 1 PM, Toronto Pearson has registered it's first 20C reading of the year. Currently 20.1.

A bit cooler by the lake; my car thermometer was reading 17C. Quite pleasant with a cool breeze rolling off the lake playing against the warm sun.

That's true, and it's really nothing too extreme. Still, will feel like a bit of a whiplash coming off such a long stretch of warmer than average temps.

Checked out another creek. Right away had to go down these stairs. Never seen whatever you call this grooved piece that runs down the stairs on the side. No idea what that's for. Although Signal has a deep appreciation for stairs, I'm guessing he's never seen this before either. He might like the other stairs that take you to and from the valley.

You put your bike in that groove and it is easier to get the bike up or down. Some apartment buildings have that for the stairs
