I love that our skyline curves with the river. I look forward to the Statesman lot getting developed and then would love to see some more height going down Riverside over the years to have an even greater effect.

I love the photo updates - thank you guys for posting them so frequently! Now that I live in Georgetown, it's not quite as easy of a hop downtown, although it's a lot closer than Asia was! Waterline is going to make such an impact. I'm stoked for this one.

It's mind-boggling to think that Waterline will be 430' taller than the Travis!

SXSW attendees might be amazed by all the construction.

based on photos @Urbannizer and @gillynova have posted here, about 10.44 days average for each of the current floors to be started after the next. ....If that napkin math checks out, then first week of August projected for this current middle section to be done (25 floors looks like).

Thought the last three floors on middle section may be taller if the renders are accurate.

That is... if their minds work that way. Many attendees, if not most, probably don't obsess over these towers like we do. They may just go "Ugh. So much construction. It's in my way..."

Respect from a Houstin poster! You just made my pride, level up a notch. Blows my mind what is happening in downtown Austin.

^^^ @the Genral my pal, you don't even know half of it. if you only knew just how much i openly ADVOCATE for austin, tx, over on HAIF... you would be completely stunned. as a houstonian, i cannot help but just LOVE the outward and inward utter progressiveness that austin, tx, is currently exhibiting throughout this great state of texas. you would be stunned at the number of verbal clashes that i very often get into with other HAIF patrons on behalf of my LOVE and EXUBERANCE for everything austin, tx. (don't believe me?) just ask @urbannizer i am most certain that this HAIF patron would be happy to clarify just what i'm stating here. (there is a real glaring irony here) houston, tx, is very often known as... SPACE CITY, USA. however, it's austin, tx, that is very often entering into the STRATOSPHERE... with its open dynamism, progressiveness, and take no crap upward mobility into the future. I REALLY LOVE THIS GREAT CITY. HOOK'EM!

Is there any way we could possibly get a last minute public bar atop this one?

Also, add a gondola that shoots straight from the top bar down to 6th.

Doubtful at this time, but, there's solid talk about one going in at the Statesman site.

There’s obviously a Ferris wheel at the top with a public observation deck.
