Lego needs to Resign over this. $ 870 million, a complete waste of money. Disrespect to taxpayers. I will start a Recall petition. This is a stupid proposal. Close the Stadium for Four years ? Are you serious ?
Was someone drunk when they proposed this idea ? First off, look at the roof, how will it hold snow ? It will cave in. It looks like the roof on So Fi Stadium in Los Angeles ! Rudiculous ! In our winter weather ??? All you have to do is Reinforce the concrete overhang and do some other improvements and you have a perfectly suitable Open air stadium that can be used April to October and save taxpayers half a billion dollars. Instead we have to deal with this stupid Pie in the Sky proposal ! Now there is No chance Taylor Swift will return to Montreal. If they were just to reinforce the technical ring and do some more 'lipstick' improvements we could have this show next summer. Of course the Mayor is happy with it, she received hush money from Lego to say nice things about this stupid idea. This Government has to go. Look how they treated the Teachers and Nurses during those negotiations and all along they were planning on wasting $ 870 million on this goofball roof proposal ? At what point did Lego sign off on this ? Did he sign off on this garbage while negotiating with the teachers and nurses ? Is this why there was no quick contract resolution ? So he withholds money from teachers and nurses and all along he had this plan to blow A Billion on a roof and eliminate any possibility Taylor Swift can come here. No wonder the strikes went on so long. This is pretty underhanded. This has to bring down the Government. What a debacle. Would you help me with this petition ? And can the next Government cancel this proposal ? This Government has to go. The Premier must Resign over this. Close the Stadium for Four years ? I heard it mentioned this would be done in Three phases. Why can't they just take off thay pathetic roof they have now and reinforce the ring and have events there next year ? Complete mismanagement.
