Looks like GA Tech is preserving this much of the Randall Brothers building.

Does anyone know if that residential building in science square is "regular" apartments or 4-bedroom student apartments?

They are regular apartments. Georgia Tech's Randall Bros project will have a large student housing component that could be a sizeable tower. I'm anxious to learn the details of that project as it will provide a better link between Science Square and the rest of the campus. The pedestrian bridge is said to be a part of that project as well.

Star Metals Urban Park will be an immersive destination that weaves together nature, sport, cynophilists, gastronomy and community within the memory of an existing warehouse.

The project, located within the heart of the Star Metals District in Atlanta’s West Midtown, taps into a recent surge of residential and retail projects that has accelerated the community’s desire for public park spaces. The neighborhood has historically been an industrial corridor and is now a vibrant mixed-use destination

Totally agree - they have ruined a most interesting and unique music-art venue. Let's call it the "Alpharetta goat farm". If MOCA is ever built, there might be some redemption.

Not to mention the increased traffic on Huff and Howell Mill Roads from all the developments being built along and off of Huff. It's nuts! I don't get it. No grid connections. Just one way in and one way out for thousands of people. This area needs rail or light rail transit bad and also keep it going and extend it up to the Bolton/Moores Mill area cause that area is also blowing up with apartment blocks and retail.

I hope they build the spaceman at Goat Farm. It was in earlier renderings, but I'm not seeing it in the most recent.

I’m happy with the new housing at goat farm, though it’s not inspiring.

Land constraints and lack of connectivity, sure, but the developer isn’t the one to solve that in an area wedged between railroads. People that live there and visit should make plans other than driving in a car if they want to get around swiftly. Perhaps trips with lesser distances would be of value.
