Does anyone know if the crown lighting is done? Has anyone else noticed the uneven brightness along the frosted strip? It's as-if some parts are without bulbs and looks kinda rough to me. Also same for the stairwells.

Acquired tons of video throughout December -- and this tower in particular had so many areas I wanted to show. Therefore I made this clip maybe too long? I figure one more video after it's 100% (or 99.98%;-)) complete, which will be a short one, especially since it might be a little occupied by then.

From about 8:14 through to the end is beautifully shot. Nicely done.

Thank you! Great screen captures btw! Have a lot more footage of those vantage points...I think they need their own clip.. Perhaps by the summer when there's more elevation of current projects.

The giant facade stain is still there. This is getting really embarrassing.

I heard they’re waiting until the second season of the Last Of us is done filming. Less cgi work needed if the bldg looks abandoned already hehehe

I wish more of the show had to do with Austin. Was also disappointed that it was 1 episode so far.

Maybe they are cleaning the rust off the observation deck. Then the 2 most annoying topics can be coupled into one and have a separate thread.

The seasonal views of this beauty (or beast, depending on who you ask,) have returned to my street. As the trees lose their leaves, I gain a view of the loftiest point of our skyline, for the time being.

When the biggest s**t stain of them all reflects so much light at night that it looks like a light fixture aimed down the facade...

If it’s any comfort, the republic will soon hide it from sight! (I say soon, those little slowpokes )

They are cleaning it right now. I'm currently in Republic Square Park and there are workers working on removing it along with the smaller ones.

I'd post a pic but don't know what image site to use. The one that I used shut down.

I use Imgur, and it is currently up.
