Hope they start the next tower soon, but I doubt it will be anytime before this one is complete.

There's currently zero activities on the site of the second tower. In fact its filled with the bricks for the current phase. Hopefully they wont wait has long as they did between the first phases and the current tower. Took almost a decade between the two.

Is the second tower still meant to be condo? If so, it could be a long wait.

Oh that's right I forgot about that part. Unless they switch to rental I could very well see this take another decade then.

I imagine they'll switch to rentals if they don't think condos are realistic at this time. It's not like they are running out of space for future condos elsewhere at LeBreton.

I really love how this tower, 412 Sparks, and the new Main+Main towers are blocking in those horrid West walls of Moon from a lot of angles.

Really happy to see so many high quality projects filling in this part of the skyline which hadn't changed much in 35+ years.

After Constitution Square I, built in 1986, The Laurier was built in the early 2000s, Claridge LeBreton built around the same time was universally loathed, Phase III and IV were better, but too low to really be visible. Cathedral Hill was polarizing.

More is u/c now than the last 35 years combined, all of it mostly taller and better quality than before.

I assume Dream is going to block most views of Renaissance from Lebreton. That Bates Island view is gonna be sick though!

Dream is about a block lower than Relevé and Renaissance, so it shouldn't hid it from north of Albert too much. Certainly not from the Aqueduct north.

Claridge development will eventually, but luckily, Relevé/Renaissance are perfectly aligned with the Aqueduct, so they will always have a protected viewpoint, unless the heritage block and Tech High are redeveloped.

Kind of sad Releve South Tower wasn't planned as the tallest. That would have added a little depth to the skyline. In any case, Releve and the Marriott, along with the Library, are very well placed to maintain visibility even long after Downtown and LeBreton are fully built-up.
