This is the view that is going to standout so much when completed. Driving in from the Eastside (low rise buildings) and seeing a 1000 ft building standing right there with nothing blocking the view of it from bottom to top will be so amazing.

They identify urban landscapes without a word. They decorate postcards and serve as backdrops for city-dweller balconies and commutes to the office. Iconic skyscrapers give their homes personalities and proof of economic growth, but what makes them special to those who help erect them from the terrain below?

Came across this article. This says the height will be 1,025 feet.

Great shot Urbannizer. What camera or lens do you use. Your picture looks like how a person sees it with their eyes. When ever I take pictures with my drone or cellphone, the picture always makes the buildings seem further away and smaller than they are in real life.

Usually a 50mm lens on a full frame camera (35mm-ish on an APS-C sensor) is close to what your eye sees.

I think an iPhone camera with the normal lens is something like a 24mm equivalent.

Thanks! IPhone 14. I love taking pics from what the average pedestrian would see, but also elevated pics from high rises and garages. Wander off a bit and you’ll find some interesting viewpoints. These buildings are standing out quite well from S 1st & Barton Springs. Should I post pics in that larger size or keep a smaller format?
