Dusting of snow overnight and it's cold today with a breeze.

Brilliant sunshine and calm in Halifax this afternoon. The Bedford Basin weather station has been down for a few days now so the following values are downtown Halifax Dockyard instead. Low was -6.0 at 8 am this morning and at 2 pm we're sitting at 1.0. It looks like the sunshine will continue through to the 27th with daytime highs in the mid single digits. Then comes a few cloudy days with showers/rain and both day and night time temps continuing above zero.

Beautiful images. It makes me miss visiting Perth county more, even though that's not where you are. That general swathe of Ontario is a very comfortable place to reside in. And with some great beaches too.

I took these today from home, as I'm on day 6 with COVID. It hit 4C in Toronto today, with rain all day. Just perfect weather for December.

Nice day in Kelowna, 4c and sunshine. Its been a warm December, but definitly not out of the ordinary, we had a similar December back in 2018 and 2020 where our average high was 3.4 (on par with this year). The only major difference is the lack of any accumulative snow.

Big White got a fair bit of snow, sitting at 100cm alpine base, pretty typical for this time of year, and made for a good day of skiing this morning.

-2C with a wind chill of -5 and cloudy this afternoon. Even milder this evening at -1C.

Low of -8C (wind chill of -15) this morning. Looks like there was some sun but I missed as I slept in. It's the Holidays after all.

The warmspots were Cumshewa Island and Sheringham Point, BC at 9.0C.

Warmest low was Bonilla Island, BC at 6.4C.

To you too!

Love the shots as always. Especially the one with the freight train motoring through - I've always been a fan of trains.

-1C and sunny in Moncton at 10 AM, going up to +3C this afternoon and +5C on Christmas Day. This is very definitely going to be a green (brown) Christmas in southeastern NB.

Merry Christmas to all, and to our Woketarian friends, a happy generic and non-specific winter solstice observation. Here's wishing you a satisfying and meaningful period of penance and deep personal reflection.

Great shot! Back as kids, we would always put pennies on the tracks there at White Rock Beach waiting for the trains to run them over and get a nice flattened coin...Too cool.

Foggy this morning. The low was 5.4 and we're looking at double digit temperatures for the next three days.

Yesterday was 5.9 with a low of 4.2 with drizzle

I'm always amazed when I see photos of buildings in Canada with balconies and terraces. Even in freezing Toronto. I imagine that most of the year those terraces and balconies are "uninhabited"

No chance for a white Christmas here (or even New Years)... but Happy Holidays to everyone at SSP.
