Interesting, I thought it would be closer to 40, given how much taller it looks than the Masonic Tower already (and yes, I realize it is on a slope)

I guess the commercial podium ceiling heights boosts the height versus just looking at the floor count. There's only like a 10m difference from the lowest part of the Masonic Centre to West Broadway (?)

For perspective. 601 W Broadway is 13 stories. 1477 is 39 floors.

What's all that tower crane height for

Making sure they have enough clearance for the iron work topping off? I'd be in favor of more skyscraping (floors)

It's like the equivalent of 6 regular floors in elevation from where the tower narrows. I'm guessing the mechanical penthouse will go up to where those white tower mast segments are?
