The complaints about walking are severely overblown. There are moving sidewalks almost the whole way. People with disabilities, families and the elderly are at a disadvantage anywhere they go. Major airports are going to include walking. They just are. I get it though, people are upset because the spoke style terminal was a bit faster walking wise, but the size of that airport was not going to work.
As far as the tram, you won't see it until a 3rd concourse is built, which will be a long time. In the meantime, the central tunnel will shorten the walk for the majority of people. I've done the very farthest walk with my son before. It took 13 minutes. If I had all my young kids, I'd show up at the airport 5 minutes earlier. Whoopedeedoo.

Also, on the bummer news front, looks like Discovery flight to Frankfurt is ending. Bummer that it didn't work out and I hope it doesn't deter other airlines from entering the market in the future. We shall see.
