Although building a cantilever boardwalk would be relatively simple, could even reuse much of the materials, I think most of the skepticism is with the City itself. I don't think they are willing to invest in such an addition, along with the structural work needed on the bridge or a station in Gatineau.

I certainly don't blame the cyclists. I'm glad it's being used for something, except in the winter, because City.
